A blackened altar built in honour of Newcastle’s loudest servants of Satan.
This archive is an attempt to document Venom’s history through photographs, magazine scans, concert imagery, flyers, interviews, posters and assorted satanic relics scattered across old publications, personal collections and the darker corners of the internet.
Wherever possible, every photograph is organised chronologically and accompanied by its date, location, event, photographer, original source and any surviving context behind it. Some information has been lost, mislabelled or disputed over the decades; those uncertainties are documented rather than quietly filled in.
Nothing here is ever truly finished. Unseen photographs, better-quality scans, photographer identifications, corrections, memories and additional information are always welcome.
